Community Action Against Addiction is seeking qualified medical doctors to provide patients with medication assisted treatment.
Candidates must hold a current Ohio Medical Board license with a subspecialty in addiction medicine; must have a current U.S. drug enforcement administration (DEA) registration for prescribing controlled substances and must not have had their registration denied or revoked at any time.
Basic duties include: Oversee the dispensing and administration of methadone and buprenorphine, conduct annual physicals, stabilize patient's medication by providing medication induction, increases and decreases, administer vivitrol injections and provide patient with other minor healthcare needs.
Community Action Against Addiction is a Medication Assistant Treatment Facility that has provided MAT to residents of Cuyahoga County suffering with a heroin addiction for over 40 years. CAAA provides the necessary tools to assist individuals successfully recover from their opioid addiction and supporting them in maintaining their sobriety.
CAAA provide the following services: daily methadone, suboxone, subutex medication or vivitrol injections, annual physical examinations, random monthly urine screening, tuberculosis screening and testing, hepatitis screening, vaccines and medication tapering, abstinence-based Individual and group counseling, spirituality and pastoral services, grief counseling, IOP services and recovery housing.
